The CRL Third-Hand Power Clamp is perfect for holding parts in place during curing or bonding projects. Attach the pump-style vacuum cup to a clean, flat surface and swing the arm into position so one threaded finger centers over the part to be clamped. Screw the clamping finger down until contacting the part. Finally, screw down the finger on the opposite end of the bar to apply additional pressure straight down on the part being worked. This is the perfect solution to clamping shower door hardware into position while UV adhesive cures. It also eliminates the possibility of parts shifting or twisting away from desired locations. It is also useful for holding automotive moldings, door and window trim, or any other object you would normally secure in place with masking tape. The 4-1/2" (114 mm) diameter vacuum cup features a red safety indicator line to warn of vacuum loss. Finger tabs on the side ofthe cup allow quick release of vacuum pressure.
