Locks and Seals Against Loosening from Vibration
This Loctite Thread Locker eliminates the need for stocking costly lock nuts and lock washers. This blue-colored sealer locks nuts in place and keeps them from loosening due to vibration. Helps protect threads from corrosion. The medium strength formula allows nuts to be removed for disassembly using normal hand tools.
Loctite 242 Threadlocker is a general purpose, removable threadlocker for fasteners between 1/4" and 3/4" (6 to 20 mm) diameters. Controlled lubricity for accurate clamp loads. Parts can be separated using hand tools.
