An Excellent Coolant for Glass Drilling, Cutting or Routing
The function of coolant is to lubricate and cool the working points of contact while drilling. When used on production machinery, the coolant also provides faster operation, extends the life of diamond wheels, and inhibits rust build-up. Oil-based coolant has been our best selling product, however, many customers have begun to use synthetic coolants to comply with local environmental regulations. The newest product in this assortment is the synthetic powder. When mixed with water, this powder will yield 100 gallons of coolant per pound. The synthetic powder is inexpensive to ship. Powder offers high lubricity, dissipates heat, and inhibits rust. It is also antifoaming, anti-bacterial, and biodegradeable. Small glass shops and new users will find the 1 pound bag ideal. Large fabricators will choose the 40 pound pail which is similar to a 5 gallon container. One pound mixed with shop water yields 100 gallons of coolant.
