The SPS Angled Support Assembly is used to provide lateral support when the mounting substrate is more than 6 inches (152 millimeters) from the top of the SPS Overhead Track. Each set consists of a steel Upper Angled Mounting Bracket, an aluminum Lower Angled Mounting Bracket, one 3/8 inch-16 x 40 inch (1016 millimeter) long Suspension Rod, one 3/8 inch-16 x 1-1/4 inch (31.7 millimeter) Track Mounting Bolt, five 3/8 inch-16 Hex Nuts, five Flat Washers, and two Lock Washers.
The Upper Mounting Bracket requires a single fastener (not supplied) to attach it to the substrate, or if mounting to steel, it can be welded. Consult a structural engineer for recommendation.
NOTE: Must be used in conjunction with CRL Cat. No. 90TSX1 Extended Support Assemblies to stabilize the entire SPS Overhead Track.
