5 to 1 Overhead Balance Heavy-duty overhead sash balance originally designed with steel cable and round hook, is now made with nylon cord and flat steel hook.
Always specify balance number stamped into the back of the channel, and whether there is one spring or two.
If the number stamped on your balance is followed by the letter "D" it denotes a double spring.Number Stamped: 153-D

How to Order Overhead Channel Balances:
1. Measure channel length.
2. Check number stamped on balance.
3. Determine the clip to be attached to the balance. Standard (as in the picture) Terminal Clip will be attached unless optional clip is ordered. Please, click HERE to choose an optional clip.
4. Determine how much cord hangs down from the balance when the window is closed. If more cord than the standard length shown is required, please, call us at 216-663-9830.
5. Match channel length and stamped number with the Catalog Number.
