This Mortise Lock and Keeper is recessed so that the door closes flush against the jamb. It is excellent for either wood or aluminum doors. The integration of the keeper and lock allows positive anti-lift protection. The plated steel hook is mounted in an anti-friction pivot and encased in aluminum housing. The overall depth of the unit is 1-9/16 inches (39.7 millimeters). It fits on
Traco and other patio doors.

Used with Mortise Style Handle Sets.
This mortise lock is similar in design to
E2079, however, overall depth of the latch from underside of the face place is
1-9/16" and the face plate is 7/8" wide.
