This CRL Floor Socket With Cap is used in areas where Hand Railing is
only required at certain times. The Floor Socket is inserted into a 3-1/4 inch
(82.5 millimeter) diameter, 5 inch (125 millimeter) deep hole, and then set in
place using Rockite® Expanding Cement. When railings are needed, the Cap is
removed from the Floor Socket and the railing is inserted. When railings are not
needed, the Cap is re-inserted to prevent tripping on the hole. The Floor Socket
projects only 1/4 inch (6 millimeter) above the floor.
