Heavy-Duty Glass Gate with Cap Rail
Beautiful in Design and Functional in Operation
Pivots on Ball Bearing Pivot at the Top and Floor Closer at the Bottom

We have developed the CRL Swinging Gate for commercial use with our HRS Glass Rail System. The gate is an offshoot of our Wedge-Lock Door Rail System. The bottom rail is widened so it matches the width of the adjacent fixed railing Base Shoe. The upper patch fitting is modified to allow for mounting to the stainless steel wall bracket and the modified Cap Rail. The top of the gate pivots on a heavy-duty ball bearing, while the bottom pivots on a floor mounted commercial door closer. The floor closer always returns the gate to the closed position, and the closing speed is adjustable.

Gate Can Be Adjusted In and Out at Both the Top and the Bottom

Standard Gates are 35-3/4 inches (908 millimeters) Wide with a three inch (76.2 millimeter) Cap Rail, and a Widened Bottom Rail to Match the Adjacent Base Shoe

Maximum Gate Size is 42 inches (1067 millimeter) wide by 60 inches (1524 millimeters) High

Custom Fabrication is Also Available

All Swinging Gates are custom fabricated to your specifications. The unit above was mounted to a four inch (101.6 millimeter) square steel post, set in concrete with machine screws. This is important, because the tight clearances used in the installation require the gate to be rigidly mounted. Also under development is a new freestanding post model.
